Our Intervention Strategy

We strive to facilitate and enhance improvements in intellectual, emotional, behavioural, social, linguistic and other areas of psychological functioning and help minimise symptoms and sufferings of psychiatric disorders.

We focus to maximise communication between our service, service users, families and carers, referrers, and all other support agencies involved including primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare, education, social services and the voluntary or private sector.

Our Outcomes

We are an outcome based service and work with all individuals and agencies involved to agree for long term success goals.

We offer special treatment and management programs in a non restrictive environment to bring significant long term care and cost benefit for referrers. Our strategies aim at preventing long term hospital stays and re admissions.

We help our service users
  • Minimise symptoms and improve mental health
  • Identify the level of care required in current and future placements
  • Define and develop a placement profile with recommendations about location and clinical needs
  • Work with referrers and families to plan for discharge
  • Improve activities of daily living and social functioning

It remains our ongoing commitment to focus on the individual values and opinions of Service Users and to incorporate ‘gold standards’ in our service provision which we underpin with the best available evidence.

Our Clinical Governance team of senior clinicians/professionals/managers have extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Together at Kuklous Healthcare, we have created a safe, efficient service whilst working with Service Users, their families and friends and other professional agencies to develop a long-term, progressive and durable individualised care pathway.

 

Training & Development

We believe in continuously training and developing our staff and increasing their knowledge, experience and clinical acumen through regular training, audits, supervisions and appraisals.

Through regular and structured teaching and training programs from our Teaching and Training resource, we impart most up to date clinical evidence to our staff members through carefully designed in house Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Person development (PDP) programs.

We encourage and promote our staff to continuously improve their skills and enhance their careers. All staff will have regular clinical and professional supervision and will be regularly updated with respect to statutory training and a system will be put in place for monitoring compliance with this.
